HMB is the abbreviation of Calcium beta-Hydroxy-beta-Methyl Butyrate. It is an intermediate metabolite of leucine, an essential amino acid in human body. HMB is widely found in citrus fruits, certain vegetables such as broccoli, legumes such as alfalfa, and certain fish and seafood. Due to the active nature of HMB, We converted it into calciumβ-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate (HMB-CA) by synthetic method. HMB-Ca is widely used such as food additives, dietary additives and so on.
